Q. What is the
SpineTREX
program?
A.
SpineTREX
is an effective spinal rehabilitation program for the
low back or lumbar spine. The program consists of FDA
approved non-surgical spinal decompression therapy focused
on decompressing the discs to take the pressure off of the
nerves. Nutrition, exercise and prevention education. |
Q. What kind of conditions
does the
SpineTREX
program treat?
A.
Degenerated discs,
bulging discs, herniated or ruptured and protruding discs of
the lumbar spine (low back) along with joint facet syndrome
and sciatica. |
Q.
What kinds of
conditions are contraindicated?
A.
Contraindicated
conditions are new fractures, tumors, and unstable
spondylolisthesis with pars defects and post surgical
conditions where metal implants (rods, cages and screws)
have been used. |
Q.
Can I still be
treated after surgery?
A.
Yes, in most
cases, as long as metal implants haven’t been used. |
Q.
How effective is
the treatment?
A. Not everyone is a
candidate for the
SpineTREX
program. For
those who qualify, better than 8 out of 10 are successful. |
Q.
What is the cost
for treatment?
A.
The
cost will vary depending on the severity of your condition
and what is needed to effectively treat your condition. The
projected cost will be covered with you after the doctor has
made the recommendations. |
Q.
Does insurance
cover the cost?
A. Many insurance plans
do cover the cost. We will verify your benefits when you
come into our office and give you an idea of what you will
need to pay out of pocket before any services are performed. |
Q.
If I don’t have
insurance, are payment plans available?
A.
Yes, in most
cases, we can arrange payment plans for as little as $25 a
week with a small down payment. |
Q.
How
long does the treatment take?
A.
Each treatment
requires about 45 minutes in the office. The overall amount
of time a person is under treatment is around 4-6 weeks. |
Q.
How often do I
need treatment?
A.
In most cases, it
is best to undergo the treatment on a daily basis, 5 days a
week. |
Q.
How long does the treatment last?
A.
Depending on the degree of the disc degeneration, the
effects of treatment can be permanent. In cases with severe
disc degeneration (disc thinning), we may recommend a
maintenance program be followed. |
Q.
Can I continue to
work while I’m under treatment?
A.
The majority of patients
can continue to work. If you have a physically stressful job
and your condition is severe, it may be best to take you off
work for the beginning of treatment. |

to demonstrate the effectiveness of treatment?
A. Yes, numerous
